Tree Lighting Festivities. Start the holiday season with a day of entertainment for the family. Looney Tunes characters will be on hand for the fun. Festivities culminate in the lighting (at 5:30pm) of the 65-foot tree.

Ghirardelli Square 37th Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony. Ghirardelli Square lights up the waterfront with their 35-foot Christmas tree. The lighting is scheduled at 6 pm and includes holiday entertainment, caroling performances, along with a celebrity guest emcee, dancing, and a visit from Santa Claus.
